London-based artist and architect Asmaa Alanbari produces the first in a planned series of creativity workshops, centred around experimentation with painting as the vehicle to engage in self-expression. The dates for the three-day workshop are: 12 October, 19 October, and 2 November 2014 at Saatchi Gallery Education Room in Chelsea.

A chance to engage creatively without pressure to make ‘art’

A new series of “Self-expression through Art” workshops this autumn from London-based artist Asmaa Alanbari (Babylon Art) are aimed at enjoyment and immersion in doing something new, rather than mastery of any particular artistic skill. As Alanbari says, “the aim is not to produce presentable works of art, but to immerse oneself in the actual process of creativity.”
